The Bhut Jolokia ghost peppers origins can be traced back to India–if you order a curry-hot you’ll probably taste the jolokia peppers. For years the Bhut Jolokia dominated the scoville charts with about a 1 million rating. You’ll find the Bhut in many of sauces like our standards: Jolokia 10 and the Holy Jolokia as well as some up and coming sauces: El Chupacabra, Scorch and Calavera.

I encourage you to revisit this pepper–not only for its heat level but the flavor…it isn’t overpowering but subtle.
